Taiyo Shuzo's flagship sake won the gold prize in the 2010 "All Japan New Sake Competition" this summer. It uses a new rice variety that is currently exclusive to Niigata.
Taiyozakari is a distinctive and richly flavored sake that will be well appreciated by experienced sake drinkers. This non-junmai daiginjo is slightly lighter in taste and is more versatile tasted with different types of food.
Suggested serving: cool or room temperature Rice: Koshinotanrei Polish: 40% SMV: +2 (slightly dry) Alcohol: 15.5% 200ml $19.50
This contemporary sweet junmai ginjo sake surprises with a
and clear fruitiness.
The brewer uses special yeast to produce a refreshing sweet tart
and apple like aroma. This delicious sake is enjoyable to a
large range of
people that normally don’t drink sake.
Taiyo is not brewing this product in 2010, but we
have a small quantity of the 2009 bottling in stock
which is keeping very well.
