Taiyo Shuzo's flagship sake won the gold prize in the 2010 "All Japan New Sake Competition" this summer. It uses a new rice variety that is currently exclusive to Niigata.

Taiyozakari is a distinctive and richly flavored sake that will be well appreciated by experienced sake drinkers. This non-junmai daiginjo is slightly lighter in taste and is more versatile tasted with different types of food.

This contemporary sweet junmai ginjo sake surprises with a refreshing and clear fruitiness.

The brewer uses special yeast to produce a refreshing sweet tart fruit flavor and apple like aroma. This delicious sake is enjoyable to a large range of people that normally don’t drink sake.

Taiyo is not brewing this product in 2010, but we have a small quantity of the 2009 bottling in stock which is keeping very well.
